"Lukaku has six weeks to save his Chelsea career"

Chelsea signed Romelu Lukaku in the hope that he would be at least somewhat similar to the player who was a success at Inter Milan. But the Belgian's performances have not been optimal.

The striker has come in for a lot of criticism. One of the latest has been from Joe Cole, who was blunt with Lukaku, who has to earn his place in the Blues team.

"Lukaku has six weeks to save his Chelsea career if he wants to. Look at Timo Werner, he doesn't give up and when he doesn't score, he offers something more," he told ITV Sport.

Joe Cole didn't like Lukaku's role in the FA Cup semi-final: "He did everything wrong, he hit the post. He must be angry with himself because he's better than that. He has to make a change, he has to go back to being the player he was. How much does he want to save his Chelsea career?"
