Lucien Favre in pole position to manage Newcastle

The change in ownership at Newcastle United has sparked a flurry of rumours around the St. James' Park outfit, with the Magpies' dugout hogging the lion's share of them.
Steve Bruce, the current manager of the English side, seems to have his days numbered and the club's management are already looking for a guaranteed replacement.
With Graeme Jones tipped to be the interim manager for the next game against Tottenham, the 'Daily Mirror' reports that Newcastle already have a strong favourite to take the job permanently.
And the English media outlet claims that Lucien Favre, former Borussia Dortmund, would be the best placed to take over the reins of the Magpies.
After him, the 'Mirror' also points out that other names such as Brendan Rodgers or Steven Gerrard are also on the list of candidates, but with fewer options than the aforementioned Favre.
