Lucas Vazquez bids farewell to Real Madrid

Real Madrid paid tribute to Lucas Vazquez on Thursday in an emotional farewell ceremony. The Galician player brings to an end his time as a player at the club, where he made his debut in the 2015-16 season.

"I want to thank the fans for your constant affection and for every gesture of support. You have made me feel part of something eternal. Also thanks to Florentino Perez for making my dream come true. This is not goodbye, I will never say goodbye to my Real Madrid," Lucas said in his speech.

Numerous teammates and members of the club were present at the farewell event. Vázquez leaves Real Madrid after a decade marked by titles, dedication and professionalism.

During his speech, the player remarked: "I leave with peace of mind, knowing that I have given everything I had inside me. I have fulfilled the dream of my life and I have done it at the biggest club in the world. Here I was happy, here I will always be happy. I will always be Lucas Vázquez, a canterano of Real Madrid".

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a commemorative shirt and warm applause. Throughout his career at Real Madrid, Lucas Vazquez won leagues, Champions League and other prestigious titles.
