Lucas Hernandez calls Barca a "sh*tty team"

During one of PSG's latest training sessions, an offtopic incident was caught on the club's official cameras. While Luis Enrique's players were training at their Cite Sportif, star player Kylian Mbappe asked new arrival Ousmane Dembele if he was going to sing, as is often done as a prank on new players, and Lucas Hernandez's response has generated quite a bit of controversy.

"How is a sh*tty team going to teach you to sing?" said the former Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, whose brother, Theo, plays for Milan, also has a 'Colchonero' background and was at Real Madrid, the 'Cules' eternal rivals. The fact is that his phrase has aroused the indignation of the Barca fans, who have not taken long to fill the social networks with criticism of him.

Mbappe's phrase before the insult was, to be precise: "Tu viens du Barca, frere, tu vas pas chanter? To this, Lucas added: "Comment un équipe de m*rde peut t'apprendre à chanter?" ("how is a sh*tty team going to teach you to sing?"). The conversation took place in a relaxed context in which the players obviously did not expect to be listened to.

Despite the controversy that Lucas Hernandez's insult has stirred up, it remains anecdotal. The defender has never publicly disrespected Barcelona, whom he has faced eight times in his career, five with Atleti and three with Bayern Munich. He was on the pitch in the historic 2-8 Champions League defeat and his overall record against the Catalan giants is 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.
