Loud whistles at the Santiago Bernabeu when Tchouameni's name was announced

Madrid fans targeted Tchouameni after the defeat in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona. The Frenchman was one of those criticised and the fans showed no mercy when they heard his name while the lineup was being called up.

At the moment when the Santiago Bernabeu speaker named the midfielder, who was due to start against Celta in midfield, the majority of the fans whistled at the Frenchman. In fact, not even the player's surname was heard, as videos posted on social media showed.

The whistles continued throughout the match. Every time Tchouameni received the ball, a large section of the white enclosure vented their anger on the Frenchman. Other players such as Ferland Mendy and Vinicius Junior were not spared the whistles either, albeit to a lesser extent.

As for Ancelotti, the last name to be announced over the loudspeaker after the starting eleven, opinions were divided among the ‘Merengues’ fans. On the other hand, the most cheered were Raul Asencio, Luka Modric and Kylian Mbappe.
