Llorente could return to Tottenham

The injury to Harry Kane, who will be on the sidelines until April, forced Tottenham to scan the market in search of a new striker to strengthen their squad.

José Mourinho hopes to sign a player whose characteristics are similar to the Englishman's and the Portuguese has opted for Fernando Llorente.

According to 'La Gazzeta dello Sport', the English club could ask Napoli to loan the ex Athletic player until the end of the season.

Llorente has played 21 matches for Napoli so far, but he has only started 3 matches.

He has only scored 4 goals, so Napoli wouldn't look upon his departure badly. The 34-year-old could return to the place that was his home for 2 seasons.
