Llorente admitted that fatigue affected Atletico

Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente said on Sunday after the 2-4 defeat to Barcelona that his side had been "weighed down by the 120 minutes" of last Wednesday's Champions League match against Real Madrid and remarked that his side will "fight La Liga until the end."
"It was a long match, because we held our own in the first half very well. We had them under control and we were able to score two goals. The 120 minutes of the Champions League match weighed on us. At the end, the team fell a lot, we were no longer able to go out and cover the crosses, they put in a lot, they are very good, they have great finishers and at the end, in desperation, we tried to equalise and the fourth came," he told DAZN.
"Above all, we made it 2-0 and then they scored 2-1. That was a blow, because we had the game more or less under control. For that lead to last a minute (from 2-0 to 2-1) is sh*t. They pressed. The key is that the midweek game weighed heavily on us and in the end the team dropped off the pace," he added.
And he announced, despite the four-point gap at the top: "We're going to fight until the end. We have already seen many cases where this changes. You have a good month, a bad month and you turn everything around. With the same ambition, we're going to work hard to make the best of it."
