Liverpool's Bajcetic to miss remainder of the season

Bad news for Liverpool. After being eliminated from the Champions League in the round of 16 against Real Madrid, Stefan Bajcetic announced on social media that he will not play again this season.

Jurgen Klopp will not be able to count on the Spanish player until next campaign. The midfielder explained that he was unavailable for Wednesday's game due to muscle problems.

"Unfortunately I’ve picked up an injury that will keep me out until the end of the season. It’s very sad to say goodbye to this amazing season for me but I understand this is part of football and will only make me stronger physically and mentally.

"I would also like to say thank you for all the support through the season and I assure you I will do my best to be back stronger than ever," he wrote.
