Liverpool boosted by injury returns

Liverpool, who are in the race for the Premier League and Europa League titles after winning the Carabao Cup trophy, have been hampered by a number of injuries this campaign.

However, the Reds' fortunes have changed in the final stretch of the season, which is key to fighting for their goals. Four of Jurgen Klopp's players who have recovered from injury took part in Liverpool's latest training session.

The training session took place on Tuesday afternoon and the German coach was able to count on players such as Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stefan Bajcetic and Alisson before facing Atalanta in the Europa League.

The English side host the Serie A club on Thursday at Anfield for the Europa League quarter-final first leg. They will be hoping to gain a good advantage for when they have to play their fate in Italy.
