Wolves secure the win! They should have scored more, but their dominance sees them secure a deserved victory against Burnley who hardly threatened in a poor performance
  • 90'
It is just not the Brazilian's day as he misses another chance, this one is even better as Traore tees him up and he miscues from 6 yards. He really should score but it does come at him quickly
  • 90'
Traore feeds Bonatini who has a great chance to kill the game but his effort is over the bar, by a deflection, he claims in vein
  • 90'

  • 87'

  • 83'

de Wolves en el 61'
  • 61'
Wolves have the breakthrough! Costa releases Doherty down the right, he picks out Jiminez in the middle who send a great low, curling finish past the helpless heart. The Mexican atones for his earlier miss
  • 60'
Neves turns down the Wolves fans' invitation to strike again, instead setting up Jota who's strike is powerful but goes wide
  • 58'
Ruben Neves takes his first long range strike of the game, it looks to be going wide but Hart takes no chances and tips it away for a corner which comes to nothing
  • 56'
Sean Dyche makes his first change and Ashley Barnes is off and Matej Vydra enters, immediately winning Burnley's first corner of the afternoon
  • 54'
After some neat interplay with Jiminez Jota goes down in the penalty area after a collision off the ball with Tarkowski but the correct decision is made and no penalty is given
  • 47'
Huge missed chance for Wolves: Bardsley's back pass is short and Jota is runs through on goal, however the right back does well to get back and put pressure on the forward. He gets a pass accrooss to Jiminez who has a great chance to score but misses a nearly open goal! Looking again Jota's ball accross does the Mexican striker no favours but he really should be scoring that!
  • 46'
We're back underway as the second half begins
  • 45'
Half time: Burnley make it to the break at 0-0. Wolves took a while to assert their dominance but have had some great chances in the last 15 minutes. Hart and Tarkowski have saved the 'clarets' from going behind. Jota and Jonny are both looking very dangerous for Wolves
  • 44'
After Wolves' second corner in quick succession the ball is half cleared to Boly who takes a brilliant first touch but fires a volley narrowly over Hart's bar
  • 41'
Coady puts a lovely ball over the top but it is just too long for Doherty who had escaped his marker. Wolves will be hoping their dominance is reflected in the scoreline sooner rather than later

a Burnley
  • 37'
Jota does brilliantly to beat 3 defenders and Jack Cork brings him down, he is given a yellow card having previously been fortunate to avoid one for another foul on the Spaniard previously. The resulting free kick comes to nothing
  • 35'
Jiminez gets another slight chance but his header from Jonny's cross is easy for Hart to deal with
  • 33'
Moutinho is the latest to have a pop, but his shot from the edge of the box sails over
  • 30'
First clear cut chances. No chances to speak of then four come at once! How Burnley are not behind I do not know! Hart saves twice including a fantastic point blank save from Jimenez and Tarkowski clears off the line as many times in a crazy minute in the Burnley penalty area
  • 26'
Joao Moutinho really is a delight to watch! Although the game has lacked quality so far, the Portugese midfielder produces a sublime first touch to bring down a high ball in midfield
  • 21'
Lennon then comes into the game for the first time, standing up a good cross that is cleared well, the ball falls to Bardsley who fires high and wide with his unfavoured left foot
  • 20'
Again, its not even a half chance, but Vokes rises well to nod down for Barnes but the striker's volley from 25 yards is way off target
  • 16'
Burnley have their first slight chance, Barnes turns well in the box but his shot does not trouble Patricio in goal
  • 10'
The next second Costa whips in a devilish ball towards goal after a short corner and Hart saves well after Boly couldn't connect, seconds later Neves does the same and Bardsley does well to nod clear
  • 9'
Wolves have looked dangerous down the right hand side, however Burnley are defending well and Doherty and Costa haven't been allowed to deliver yet
  • 6'
Gudmunsson shoots harmlessly wide from 30 yards after Hart saved Jota's tame effort from a similar range
  • 1'
And we're off! Can Wolves continue their impressive start to life back in the Premier League or are Burnley going to turn around their poor start now they only have the domestic campaign to focus on?
