An extremely entertaining fixture in Amsterdam. Ajax's youthful side were all-out attack to get four past Lopes. Traore scored a double as well as Younes and Dolberg. Valbuena scored a goal to give Lyon some hope going into the second leg.

Younes scores another. Terrible defending from Lyon, and the winger cuts inside the box to shoot. The strike takes a deflection and is cleared under the bar, but the ball crosses the line.
