Lingard tapped in to get England back in it

Croatia had taken the lead compeltely against the run of play, as Andrej Kramaric's shot was deflected in to the England net.

The home side knew that had to get back in to the game quickly to have a chance of getting through to the next round of the tournament, and the moment came from a long throw-in.

Joe Gomez launched the ball in to the box, with John Stones getting his head on it while the Croatia defenders failed to deal with it.

The ball somehow got through to Jesse Lingard in the centre of the goal, who couldn't miss as he tapped the ball in with his left foot.
