“It's the best game of my career”

Switzerland's Yann Sommer, one of Inter Milan's key players against Barcelona to advance to the Champions League final, a late hero in goal, said his save from Lamine Yamal was the most “special” of the night.
“I'm very happy, it was an incredible game. The team has done something tremendous tonight,” Sommer, the UEFA ‘MVP’ of the match, told ‘Sky Sport’. He did not hesitate to highlight his game: “Yes, I think this has been the best game of my career”.
“The last save against Lamine is a very special one. He's a very strong player who always goes inside and shoots. I'm very happy it didn't go in,” he added.
The goalkeeper, who was not in Inter's 2023 final against City, and will play in his first 'Champions' final, highlighted the team's mentality. “This match means that we believe until the end. Look at Acerbi. We believed until the end,” he concluded.
Inter will face either PSG or Arsenal in the final in Munich on May 31st.
