“It's a hard blow, but it won't affect us for the 'Clasico”

The Champions League dream is over for Barcelona, who were eliminated in the semifinals against Inter Milan. Ronald Araujo, one of the team's captains, appeared in the mixed zone and gave his first feelings on the matter.
“Sad. We wanted to qualify and we were having a great Champions League. It was close and it got away. These matches are decided by details and we failed. The qualification slipped away from us,” he began.
Quickly, the centre-back highlighted the team's mentality and the next challenge ahead, which is the 'Clasico': “I don't think it will affect us for Sunday. It's a hard blow, but this team has an incredible mentality. We're going for La Liga, which is the title that's left.”
“Flick told us he was proud and that next year we'll try again,” he continued.
Finally, Araujo was self-critical of the defence during the tie against the 'Nerazzurri': “I think we stood up to our opponents, the team was good, but conceded a lot of goals. We have to review it for what's left and for next year. I would like to thank the people who came to support us and who believe in this team”.
