Lautaro Martinez set to face Barcelona

Lautaro Martínez is set to start for Inter Milan in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona, following positive developments in his recovery from a thigh injury.
The Argentine striker, who was forced off at half-time during the first leg at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, has returned to training and completed intensive rehabilitation sessions to be available for the decisive fixture.
Medical tests confirmed that Martinez had not suffered a serious muscle injury, but rather an elongation of the flexor muscles in his left thigh, allowing for a rapid recovery. Pavard, who was also injured, may be available but is not expected to start.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Martinez will not only be included in the squad but is expected to feature in the starting eleven, just six days after his setback.
Sky Sports Italia also reports that the forward has shown great commitment to make himself available, undertaking double training sessions and sharing optimistic updates on social media.
