Last minute Ntcham strike sends Celtic through

Celtic have booked their place in the last 32 of the Europa League thanks to a last gasp win over Lazio in the Italian capital. Neil Lennon's side won by the same score as they did in the match at Celtic Park to do the double over the Italian outfit.
Lazio started well and Forster had to make a save from Jony's volley after three minutes. Just four minutes later, the home side took the lead. Jony sent a cross into the area which Caicedo flicked on and Immobile fired home at the far post. It was his 101st goal and it gave Simone Inzaghi's men the perfect start. The home side remained in the control for the next 10 minutes or so without really doing anything. In the 25th minute, Immobile headed narrowly wide of the post from the edge of the six yard box, but then Celtic came into the game.
The visitors started to win a few corners and seven minutes before the break, Celtic equalised. Elyounoussi's first ball into the box was cleared back to him and he found Forrest on the far side who hit a shot across Strakosha into the far corner.
Lazio promptly responded with three chances in one minute. First, Jony's ball in was headed towards goal by Milinkovic-Savic and Forster had to tip it for a corner. From the resulting set piece, Caicedo headed and Jullien had to get back to clear off the line. Then seconds later, Parolo headed over the crossbar. However, the half ended with Celtic also threatening and a first 45 which started with Lazio dominating, ended up being even.
After the break, Celtic were undoubtedly the better side. Edouard was looking dangerous for the away team and he tested Strakosha four minutes after the resumption before setting up McGregor seconds later. Celtic continued to press and Scott Brown was inches away from tapping in Ajer's cross. Lazio were on the ropes and they unsurprisingly made a double change which saw Lulic and Luis Alberto come on.
The changes helped and Lazio then began to look the more likely to score. Caicedo wanted a penalty after pressure from Jullien and then Fraser Forster made a good stop to stop Milinkovic-Savic's header from close range from going in. Fifteen minutes from time, Luis Alberto struck a post directly from a corner while Lazzari fired off target from distance and then Edouard missed a golden opportunity at the other end as his effort across Strakosha crept wide of the far upright.
The match was very open as Lazio were desperate to win the contest given their position in the group.. Berisha saw a shot saved, Caicedo also headed wide before Forster had to pull off a superb stop to deny Luis Alberto after his tremendous turn on the edge of the box. However, they left lots of space at the back and they were ultimately punished.
Berisha played a terrible lateral pass in his own half, Edouard got on the end of it and he saw Ntcham to his right who chipped it over the Lazio goalie in the 95th minute. There was hardly time for Lazio to respond and as Rennes failed to win at Cluj (they lost), Celtic's place in the knockout phase of the Europa League was confirmed and the plenty of visiting fans in the stadium went beserk. The gamble by Lazio, who probably deserved a draw, did not pay off and they are now in major trouble in Group E.
