Larsson-Kuyt duo close to becoming Southend United managers

Not long ago, Larsson and Kuyt spelt danger in opposition defences. They did it for big teams, with the Swede starring for Barcelona and the Dutchman starring for Liverpool.

Now both of them have changed goals for the tactics board. And they could be announced as managers in England in the next few hours, according to the aforementioned source.

Southend United will be the club that the duo becomes the manager of. Larsson will be the main coach with Kuyt as his assistant.

Southend are 2nd bottom of League 1, the English 3rd tier, with 1 win and a draw in 12 matches.

Larsson returns to management after resigning from Helsingborgs, where he received insults and threats from some fans.
