Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Jr looking to dazzle 'Clasico' with dribbles

However, statistics show that Lamine Yamal dribbles more and better between the two. The 17-year-old Barca gem tops the list of dribblers in the Spanish top flight, counting 354 from 31 league games so far this season, of which 199 were executed successfully.
But that switches when looking at a specific area of he pitch. In the danger zone - the area within 18 yards of the opposition's goal - Vinicius has the most dribbles in terms of total attempts (82) and success (57), with Yamal counting 75 and 57, respectively.
There are several other aspects in which the Rocafonda-born player excels over Vincius. Yamal has the highest number of assists (12), key passes (35), successful passes into the box (95), and successful passes that result in a shot on goal (35) than anyone else in La Liga.
For Vinicius, goals scored is an area in which he has outclassed the Spain international this term. The 24-year-old has netted 11 times from 28 appearances, while the Masia academy product has found the target 6 times from 31 matches.
Yet, they both know how to score against their eternal rivals. Of the 20 'Clasicos' he has featured in with the Los Blancos outfit, Vinicius has registered 7 goals and 3 assists. On the other hand, Yamal, who only has 6 'Clasicos' under his belt, counts 2 goals and 2 assists.
Despite the difference in 'Clasico' appearances, their average number of goals scored is very similar. The Blaugrana right-winger has an average of 0.33, which is just below that of the Merengues' left-winger (0.35).
