"Lamine has proven to be a different player with huge potential"

Barcelona and Athletic are ready to kick off the Spanish Super Cup on Wednesday. The captain of the Basque side, Oscar de Marcos, appeared in the press room and gave his first impressions on the matter.

"It's true that Barcelona are not like they were at the start of the season, but these are the dynamics of all teams. Hopefully we can catch them and continue to accentuate that not-so-good dynamic. But they have players of a very high level", he began.

One of them is Lamine Yamal, whom he praised: "We'll see if he starts, we don't know yet. It's true that what he's shown so far proves that he's a different player with a lot of potential. It's difficult to stop him, but as a team we'll try to reduce his danger as much as possible."

"We are in a good dynamic, but it is very complicated. They're ahead of us in the league and I don't think we're favourites. Hopefully they'll show instability on the pitch as well", he continued.
