Kristoffer Ajer's Celtic future uncertain as he eyes return home

Following Kristoffer Ajer's return to the Scottish side, Celtic's trip to Norway could be well timed.

Last season, the 19-year-old defender was injuried and he made his return playing in the 4-0 friendly against Lyon last Saturday. 

Ajer's future at Celtic is not yet clear, as another loan deal with Kilmarock could be an option. 

"I feel ready to play for Celtic in European games. It was disappointing to have an injury at the start of pre-season, but the physios did outstanding work with me and I was back very quickly. I have good fitness", he said. 

"It was good to be back playing at Celtic Park. I've had a good first year in Scotland and to be back in front of the fans with the team was a great feeling", he added.
