Martinez: "Kompany taken out as precaution"
Vincent Komoany didn't feature for Belgium in their 1-1 draw against Netherlands. Belgium coach Roberto Martinez denied injury rumours and revealed the reason for his last minute missing.
"There is no injury to Vincent Kompany," Martinez told reporters afterwards.
"We did not want to take any risks with him and Kompany did not feel well after the warm-up. I want every player to be 100 per cent. It's too early to say if he will be ready for Sunday," he said.
