Kompany option for Bayern despite relegation with Burnley

Burnley have been relegated and will play in the Championship next season, although it looks like they will do so without Vincent Kompany at the helm. A number of European clubs have expressed interest in the Clarets' current manager.

According to market eminence Fabrizio Romano, Bayern have set their sights on the Belgian. The journalist reported that there have been talks within the Bavarian club about the former Anderlecht coach as the new Allianz Arena bench boss. 

Thomas Tuchel, who had been tipped to stay on, confirmed his 100% departure at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Hoffenheim game. It should not be forgotten that the Bavarian board is losing all its candidates: Rangnick, Nagelsmann, Xabi Alonso....

Meanwhile, the same source revealed that Brighton are waiting to make a decision on Roberto De Zerbi's replacement. Kompany could also be an option for the Seagulls.
