Klostermann renews with RB Leipzig until 2024

RB Leipzig confirmed the renewal of Lukas Klostermann's contract until June 2024. Th 23 year old defenders' previous deal was up in the middle of 2021.

The German full-back thus signs a new contract with the team who he has already played 159 matches for, after joining the B team at just 18 years old.

At that age, in the 2014-15 season, he managed to make his Bundesliga debut with RB Leipzig, the team who he has become a vital player with.

"I am happy that I have renewed with RB Leipzig and that I now have a clear future. I have been here in Leipzig for years and have grown a lot here, personally and as a player. I want to be part of the success of the team. I'm very happy here and in this city," Klosterman said after the renewal, in a statement published by the German team.
