Klopp targets German second division goalkeeper

Liverpool's board are already looking ahead to next season's transfer window. This is because reserve goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel's contract expires in mid-2023. 

In order to make up for this loss, Jurgen Klopp's side are interested in signing Ron-Robert Zieler, according to 'Bild'. The goalkeeper is expected to be released at the end of the season.

The German goalkeeper of Hannover 96 is in the same situation as Adrian, as his contract with Stefan Leitl's club is coming to an end. As a result, Zieler would join the English side on a free transfer from the German second division. 

The Cologne-born goalkeeper already knows the Premier League inside out, having played for Manchester United and Leicester City. His main strengths are his ability with the ball at his feet and his agility.
