Kick-off time for Palace vs City FA Cup final confirmed

The 2024/25 FA Cup final between Crystal Palace and Manchester City will kick off at 17:30 CET on Saturday, 17 May at Wembley Stadium, the Football Association (FA) confirmed earlier on Saturday.

The 2023/24 and the 2022/23 FA Cup finals, which both featured Manchester derbies between City and United, were held at 16:00 CET, but reports from England inform that the police would not agree to a later time.

Man City will play their third successive showpiece after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the semi-finals, while Palace swept past Emery's Aston Villa to book their ticket for the final for just a third time in their history.

Guardiola's men will be keen on winning the trophy to avoid going trophyless after a dismal campaign in the Premier League and the Champions League, while the Eagles look the claim FA Cup glory for the first time.
