Kehrer a step closer to Bayern

'L'Equipe' reported that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Thilo Kehrer from Paris Saint-Germain, with coach Julian Nagelsmann looking to bring in a versatile defensive player.
The German defender was linked with several Bundesliga clubs over the course of the summer transfer window, most notably Bayer Leverkusen, and the return of Sergio Ramos will limit his playing time with the Parisians this season.
Bayern's management met with the player's entourage last Friday and the aforementioned media outlet claimed they agreed a three-year contract. The player had intended to play for a Champions League team.
Three years after joining from Schalke 04 for 37 million euros, the German international now looks set to return to the Bundesliga. For Bayern, he is a great addition after losing players like David Alaba, Javi Martinez and Jerome Boateng.
