Kayserispor ask for help to pay Atlético for Mensah

Kayserispor could have a big problem if they don't pay Atlético Madrid for the signing of Bernard Mensah. The Turkish club, by the hand of their president, have asked for ease to undertake the payment.

Mensah, after a year on loan at Kayserispor, signed from Atlético Madrid on a permanent basis for 3.6 million euros, a sum that the Spanish side still haven't received.

"Atlético complained to FIFA because we couldn't make the Mensah transfer payment. The Spanish club requested a three-window ban and FIFA decided that Atletico are absolutely right," Berna Gozbasi told 'TV1'.

But Mensah isn't the only problem for Kayserispor. "We aren't paying Landry N'Guemo's wage. We must pay both parties, Atlético and N'Guemo. The sums to pay are high", he explained.

"We request an improvement in the payment of both the player and the Spanish club. We ask for a discount and ease of payment. It is being negotiated. I hope we will get along somehow. Otherwise, we will receive a sanction", he asked.
