Karsdorp refuses to apologise

All the attention is focused on the controversy between Jose Mourinho and Rick Karsdorp. The coach, albeit without naming him, criticised him after the draw against Sassuolo: "I feel betrayed by a player, I have told him to find a new team."
The latest news comes from the Netherlands, where the Dutch defender has gone after being left out of the squad against Torino. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the defender said that he will not apologise to the coach, as he believes he has not committed any offence that requires an apology.
General manager Thiago Pinto spoke on Sunday about Karsdorp's departure, which looks like it will be soon. He neither confirmed nor denied this hypothesis. He also explained that the decision to leave him out of the last list was a joint one.
"As for Karsdorp, although I am not going to say much, you all saw what happened. We decided that the best thing for everyone, for him and for the team, was not to stay. We have to put the interest of Roma above all else and we will find a solution that will be good for everyone," he concluded.
