Gaël Kakuta has reached an agreement with another French club at 29 years old. The winger was announced as a new Lens player, who he signs for on loan from Amiens.

Kakuta will remain in France and Ligue 1 next season, but he will play for a Lens side which are continuing to improve their squad to compete in the French top flight.

Lens have reached an agreement with Amiens for the loan of the winger, who returns to what was his home in 2007 when he left the under 19s to start his career at Chelsea. He returns to the place it all started 13 years later.

Since then, the attacker has had spells at teams such as Rayo and Sevilla in Europe and has even played in the Chinese league for Hebei China Fortune.

After 24 matches this season for Amiens and two goals, he is going to Lens who have an option to buy.
