Juventus seriously thinking of Mertens option

Nine seasons after his arrival at Napoli, Mertens put an end to his time at the club and the player is looking for a new project where he can star in Italy, if possible. 

There was talk of Fiorentina signing the player, but now 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reports that Juventus are looking positively at signing him for free for the 2022-23 season. 

The Belgian was ruled out by Inter Milan, who focussed on the return of Romelu Lukaku to the Giuseppe Meazza. Now, 'The Old Lady' look to be his best option in Serie A.

Mertens is also a Marseille and Valencia target, but the possibility of playing for Juventus under Allegri excites the Belgian. In the coming days, everything will be decided.
