Juventus plot Jadon Sancho rescue bid from Man Utd

The future of Jadon Sancho may once again lie away from England, with Serie A looking like the most likely destination. According to 'Tuttosport', Juventus are showing significant interest in the English winger and have already opened negotiations with Manchester United, who no longer see him as part of their plans.

Indeed, having returned from his loan spell at Chelsea, the 25-year-old has been granted permission to miss the return to training at Carrington. The Blues had an obligatory purchase clause, but opted to pay compensation rather than trigger the permanent transfer.

And now, it is Juventus who are coming to Jadon Sancho's rescue. The Turin club is very optimistic and believes it could bring the Londoner out of Old Trafford for around 25 or 30 million euros. The aforementioned media outlet claims that the agreement between the clubs is very close.

Chelsea preferred to pay a fine rather than sign the player. It has to do with salary as Sancho is paid around ten million, a hefty sum that has complicated the market for him in recent years, but the player would be willing to reduce his salary by around 50% in order to leave Manchester United.

For their part, Juventus are considering the departure of Nicolas Gonzalez. The Argentinian winger has failed to impress, and his role in the Club World Cup was minimal. He only participated in the defeat against City and had limited minutes against Wydad and Real Madrid. His departure would free up salary space for the arrival of Sancho.
