Juventus consider one last dance with Morata

Alvaro Morata could be living out his final days at Atletico Madrid. The Spanish international, who is going through a huge slump in form after managing to score just one goal in the last 13 games, is nevertheless having the best season of his career in front of goal and has once again caught the eye of Juventus.

The 'Vecchia Signora', according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', want to boost their front line and, in principle, will let Moise Kean and Arkadusz Milik leave in view of the next season, in which the 'Bianconeri' will return to the Champions League. Sporting director Guintoli's firm objective is to bring back Morata, who left a good impression on the club in his two previous spells with the club.

The Madrilenian made his breakthrough between 2014 and 2016 at the Turin outfit and returned much more mature in 2020 to play another couple of seasons with the team, the first one leaving a much better taste in his mouth than the second. After a phenomenal start to the 2023-24 season, Alvaro Morata reached his best scoring figures in La Liga and also equalled his most prolific season in front of goal in an official match with his strike against Real Betis on 3rd March. The striker, who has been rather inconsistent of late, will set a new personal best with another goal, breaking the 20-goal record he set at Juventus in the 2020-21 season.

The 31-year-old Alvaro Morata's signing will not be a bargain. The Spain international could demand an outlay of between €15m and €20m from Juventus, a figure that Turin believe is fair provided they can get rid of Moise Kean and Arkadiusz Milik first.

This is confirmed by the aforementioned media, which indicates that the 'Vecchia Signora' values Morata's versatility to play in attack both as a lone striker and as a partner for Dusan Vlahovic. The nationality of Alvaro Morata's wife Alice would also be a factor to take into account for a third spell in Turin.
