Juanmi completes Betis exit, joins Getafe

Striker Juanmi Jimenez, who finished the recently concluded season on loan at Getafe on loan from Betis, has been definitively transferred by the Sevillian club to the Madrid club, who have exercised the option to buy the player.

"After the end of Juanmi Jimenez's loan period, Getafe CF has exercised its option to buy the Andalusian striker, who will become part of the Madrid team's squad," said the Betis club in a statement on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old Malaga-born player joined Real Sociedad in 2019. During these seasons he has played 120 official matches, in which he has scored 31 goals. He was also one of the key players in winning the Copa del Rey in 2022.

"Real Betis wishes Juanmi the best of luck in this new stage of his career," Real Betis club said in a statement.
