Juan Foyth sent off two minutes after coming on

Mauricio Pochettino was faced with a rather complicated panorama this afternoon. In just a blink of an eye, the Spurs were left without Son and without Foyth. The Korean pushed one of his rivals and was shown the red card for the unnecessary tackle.
A few minutes later, right after half time, the Argentine player, who entered at the 46th minute to try and rebuild the team, was expelled in just two minutes. The referee showed him a red card for an inappropriate tackle on an opponent.
The La Plata native went to recover a ball and took his opponent ahead. In the repetition, it can be seen how the player lunged in clumsily with studs to the knee of the 22-year-old. It was another unecessesarily hard tackle, which hit the opponent boots first, and could have potentially caused an injury.
