'It was a stomp on the bone' - Di Maria reassures Rosario fans

Di Maria returned to Rosario Central with a start and a goal in the 1-1 draw against Godoy Cruz. But, in the final stretch of the match, the former Benfica player had to be substituted due to an injury that he spoke about once the match was over on “TNT Sports”.
In statements to “TNT Sports”, he sent a reassuring message: "It was a step on the bone, that's all. Nothing, everything is calm. I'm fine. Therefore, everything seems to indicate that the 'Fideo' will be available for the next matches of the 'Canalla' club.
In the 88th minute, Di Maria went to the ground when he tried to dribble past between several opponents. Once on the ground, Vicente Poggi unintentionally stepped on his leg and right foot with his left boot, a gesture after which the Central player screamed in desperation and grabbed the affected zone.
Ariel Holan had to replace his new star in the 89th minute, with the home side still 1-0 up with the 37-year-old's goal. The lead could not be maintained as Godoy Cruz, down a man from a few minutes earlier, equalised in the 95th minute through Poggi himself.
