"It's very difficult for Xavi and I to coach Barcelona together"

Xavi's Barcelona are top of La Liga and the Catalan club are more than satisfied with how he is doing as coach. He was a legend as a player and the fans hope he will also become one as a coach.
Andres Iniesta, who was his teammate in the Barca dressing room, has no doubt that Barca will have success with Xavi in charge. He also sent a message to those who dream about him linking up with Xavi on the Barca bench. "It's very difficult. People imagine it because they've seen us as players and we've been very happy. It would be very good and it would be very nice, but it's very difficult," Iniesta told 'Marca'.
"Xavi is the coach now and I'm still a footballer. I don't even have my coaching badges. It's something which is unlikely to happen (Iniesta and Xavi coaching together). The important thing is for him (Xavi) to do his job and for Barca to be back where we all want it to be and we'll all be happy," he added.
Iniesta spoke positively of the job his former teammate is doing: "It was not at all easy when he started given the club's situation. They were having a tough period, but I think there has been progression. I know that winning trophies is what decides the future and almost everything, but progression is important in order to reach the point we all want them to reach."
With regards to trophies, Iniesta is no doubt they will arrive. "I'm confident that he will win trophies this season. They've been knocked out of the Champions League, which was a setback for everyone, but they're still in other competitions. They're in a very good position in La Liga and even though there are still a lot of games left, I'm confident they'll win it," he concluded.
