"It’s on us to win our games and focus on ourselves"

Manchester City will face Bournemouth in the matchday 25 of the Premier League. Guardiola's side are not at their best at the moment as they drew in the Champions League against RB Leipzig. They are not satisfied with the draw.
Both teams will have to fight for qualification in the second leg on 14th March. For the moment, City are focused on their next Premier League challenge: overtaking Arsenal in the standings.
Manuel Akanji is one of the players who knows what they need to do to make progress: "It’s on us to win our games and focus on ourselves.
Moreover, he spoke about his feelings after the Champions League match: "I think we played really well with the ball in the first half, and we were in control. We deserved the goal. We made some mistakes. They put more pressure on us and we didn’t play well with the ball. We gave it away too easily. In the end I think it’s deservedly a 1-1. It’s all open, we have an open game and I’m looking forward to the game," he said.
"The Premier League is more physical. There’s never an easy game – it doesn’t matter which team you are facing – you’ve always got to be at your best otherwise you are going to concede goals," he concluded.
Man City will be looking for all three points against Bournemouth and will hope Arsenal stumble against Leicester to take the lead in the standings.
