Isco saw an equaliser chalked off for offside

Having gone into the game needing three goals without reply just to force extra time, Juventus made the perfect start as Mario Mandzukic headed them ahead inside two minutes.

However, with just 14 minutes gone, Real Madrid had the ball in the net themselves.

Cristiano Ronaldo found a yard of space and fired low from just inside the box and Gianluigi Buffon could only parry it away.

Isco was first on the scene to tuck the ball away at the near post from a narrow angle, but his joy was short lived as the offside flag was promptly raised.

It looked a close call from the man in black, with replays showing it was a matter of milimetres.
