Inter Miami agree €15m deal with Atletico for Rodrigo de Paul

Inter Miami have finally reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for Rodrigo de Paul. It had been reported over the last few weeks that the 'Albiceleste' international was interested in trying his luck in the MLS and so it will be.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Miami-based club have agreed a transfer fee of 15 million with the “Colchoneros” and the 31-year-old midfielder will sign a four-year contract with his new club.

The news has been reported just a day after the Argentine was left out of the squad for the pre-season tour and president Enrique Cerezo refused to discuss his imminent departure.

De Paul will be reunited in North America with his national team-mate Lionel Messi, as well as being under the guidance of compatriot Javier Mascherano.
