Inter intiate contacts with Real Madrid's Arda Guler as Nico Paz plan B

Unhappy with his situation at the Spanish capital, teenage sensation Arda Guler has opened up to a Real Madrid exit. The Turkey international, signed by 'Los Blancos' in July 2023, has spent most of his time at the club sitting on the bench, seeing limited time on the pitch under Carlo Ancelotti.
The head coach has deployed Guler for only 1088 minutes across 31 games this season, preferring to opt for more experienced squad members. The lack of game time has prompted the 20-year-old to look for options elsewhere, with Inter Milan rising as a potential destination.
According to 'Sky Sport CH', the 'Nerazzurri' have already begun contact with Guler's camp, seeing him as an alternative for Nico Paz, who has long been on the club's radar. Although there is belief in getting the move done, the Italians will have to get past the Real Madrid hurdle.
The Argentine joined Cesc Fabregas’s Como in a permanent deal last summer, but the 'Merengues' retain a series of buy-back clauses on the player. This means that they can bring him back to Madrid for €8m this summer, with the fee increasing as his stay at Como prolongs.
Whichever route the Serie A champions go for, an agreement will have to be found with Real Madrid, who see the two youngsters as part of their long-term projects. It is understood that both players are interested in a possible move to Inter, but Paz has the upper hand as of right now.
The midfielder has already given his green light to join Simone Inzaghi's team, with Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti acting as a major pull factor in the negotiations. As for Guler, a transfer to the Italian top flight would see him reunite with fellow Turkey teammates Calhanoglou and Juventus' Yildiz.
But a transfer for the former Fenerbache talent will be discussed only if the deal for Paz does not materialise. With other suitors - AC Milan, Leverkusen, Frankfurt - in the race to sign him, the message from Arda Guler is clear; if the minutes are not guaranteed, he will leave Real Madrid.
