Injury-crisis hits England as EIGHT players withdraw from national team

England boss Lee Carsley has been forced to make several last-minute changes as eight players have withdrawn from the national team ahead of their Nations League game during the November internationals break.
The Three Lions travel to Athens to go up against Greece on Thursday before hosting Republic of Ireland at Wembley on Sunday. The latter will be Carsley's final game as interim manager before Thomas Tuchel takes the rein from January 1st.
However, the interim manager will have to face the double-header without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Levi Colwill, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Cole Palmer, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, who have all been forced to withdraw.
To replace the unavailable Englishmen, Morgan Rogers, Jarrod Bowen, Jarrad Branthwaite, Tino Livramento and James Trafford have all been called up, as confirmed by the side on Monday. It is the first senior call up for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
