Icardi to arrive in Turkey this week

Mauro Icardi has not been happy on the pitch for some time. Since he left Inter, everything went downhill and his career stalled at a place he thought he would improve as a footballer.
He was under consideration under Mauricio Pochettino, but the arrival of Christophe Galtier was a setback for the Argentine. The French coach did not include him in the squad and, even more, excluded him from the Champions League list. His future lies in Turkey, according to 'Fanatik'.
Galatasaray will sign the striker this week on loan with an option to buy and for an undisclosed fee. After the match between Galatasaray and Gaziantep FK, Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk said: "We want to completethe deal for Mauro Icardi." The French side will still have to continue paying part of his very large salary thouugh.
The Turks will take advantage of the fact the transfer window ends this week for them to get hold of the striker to try and fight for the league and return to Europe. They have already signed Dries Mertens and Lucas Torreira.
