"I love Mourinho, he listens to you and then tells you what he thinks"

Ahead of Villarreal's historic match at Anfield, Aurier has been talking to the Telegraph about his time at Liverpool's Premier League rivals Tottenham.
"Anything can happen. Liverpool are one of the best teams in the world, but that won't stop us fighting. And fighting is my life's slogan," he said of the tie against the Reds.
"Sometimes players need more love and attention. Joao is a tough guy and he didn't have a good relationship with the dressing room, that's why everything deteriorated. There was a lack of good communication," he said of Joao Sacramento, Mourinho's assistant coach at Tottenham.
"It was one of his first experiences in a first team and he lacked calmness with the players. You need someone who calms you down and helps you, who gives you good vibes, who doesn't send you negative messages. And I think that's where it all started," he added.
However, talking about Mourinho, Aurier had nothing but praise for the Portuguese coach: "I love it because Mourinho listens to you and then tells you what he thinks. Sometimes you hate him and you want to kill him, but then you love him because his character is that of a born winner and I identify with him a lot. I have nothing against him.
