"I hope I can continue at Atletico for many years to come"

Pablo Barrios is making strides in his career at Atletico Madrid. The midfielder returned to play some minutes with the 'Colchoneros' shirt this past weekend.

After the win against Athletic Club, the Madrid side youth player spoke on 'DAZN' about what Simeone asks of him on the pitch: "That I continue like this, with the same work, the same humility, and I'm sure I'll be at Atletico for many years to come".

"I hope I can stay here for many years to come. I'm very comfortable playing as a midfielder, but I'm here to play whatever I want. I don't care where I play, as long as I get playing time," he added.

Finally, he spoke about the Civitas Metropolitano: "It's very nice to play here at home, in front of the fans with my teammates and I'm very happy to be able to continue getting playing time and for the team's victory".
