"I have had no problems with Luis Enrique"

Nacho Fernandez was under the spotlight in the Spanish national team press room on Wednesday. The Real Madrid centre-back did not hide and discussed everything from his renewal with the 'Merengues' to his return to 'La Roja'.

The player welcomed his return to the national team: "I'm very excited, it's a reward for my work over the last few years. I'm very happy to be here and of course I want to take advantage of the opportunity.

Nacho Fernández clarified the reason for his recent absences with Spain: "I haven't had any problems with Luis Enrique or anyone else. I was very comfortable with him, maybe we'll meet again".

Nacho Fernandez finished by talking about his renewal with Real Madrid: "I've said it many times. I'm trying to live in the present, it's the best moment of my career. I'd be the same even if I had two more years on my contract. It doesn't make me sleep less or more, just live in the present".
