"I don't rule out Foyth leaving"

The transfer market is in full swing, with little more than a week to go until it closes in the major leagues. With competitions already underway, coaches are resigned to letting go of players they can count on.
One of them is Unai Emery. The Villarreal coach went on 'El Larguero' on 'Cadena SER' to talk about the situation of Juan Foyth, who is wanted by Barcelona to reinforce their right-back.
"The most normal thing is that he stays with us, but I can't rule out that at a given moment, the surprise could go against us," said the Spanish coach.
Emery assured that "Barça's interest is real. It's a position they need to fill and Foyth fits in. The issue is whether the player wants to leave or not.
"It's always good when a team calls you, but he has told me that he is very happy, that he is not thinking of leaving and that he wants to stay. From there, I don't know to what extent circumstances will go one way or the other," said the Villarreal coach.
"I am calm after the conversation I had with him. He is an important player for us and he has grown a lot in recent years. I don't rule out that at a given moment, the surprise could go against us, but the most normal thing is that he stays at Villarreal," he said.
