How much will clubs earn at the Club World Cup?

From the outset, the financial rewards have been one of the most enticing aspects for the 32 teams competing in the Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States from Sunday, 15 June (opening match) to Sunday, 13 July (final).
While early reports suggested that each team would receive a fixed €50 million, the actual figures are lower. Earnings will depend on the team's confederation, their profile, and their performance throughout the competition.
European clubs will earn between €11.8 million and €35.4 million just for taking part, with the exact figure determined by both sporting and commercial criteria, according to FIFA.
UEFA is the only confederation where teams will receive differing amounts — for instance, Real Madrid are set to collect the full €35.4 million, while Atletico Madrid will receive €20 million.
South American representatives will each pocket €14.09 million. Clubs from CONCACAF, Asia, and Africa will earn €8.85 million apiece. Meanwhile, Auckland City — the sole entrant from Oceania — will receive €3.32 million, the lowest amount of all participants.
In addition to participation fees, there are performance-based rewards. A win in the group stage is worth €1.85 million, while a draw earns a club €900,000. Unsurprisingly, the figures increase as teams progress.
Clubs reaching the round of 16 will receive an extra €6.95 million. Quarter-finalists will add €12.16 million to their total earnings, and a semi-final appearance brings the figure up to €19.45 million.
As for the final, the runners-up will walk away with €27.7 million, while the champions will take home €37 million.
