Hojlund to be announced by Man Utd soon: medical tests completed

Manchester United are set to sign one of Europe's top strikers. Rasmus Hojlund will play for the Old Trafford side after leaving Atalanta. According to Fabrizio Romano, he completed all his medical tests and first part of media duties as a new Red Devil on Tuesday with a contract until 2028.

The Danish player becomes United's third signing of the summer, after Mason Mount and Andre Onana. Erik ten Hag's team needed a new offensive reinforcement in the squad, and with Hojlund they now have one.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal for the transfer was closed at around 70 million euros. Manchester United's needs led to this significant increase in price, but it is not a problem for the British club.

After just one season at Atalanta, Rasmus Hojlund arrives in the Premier League in a big change for the player. In 42 games for 'la Dea' he scored 16 goals and provided 7 assists.
