Hojlund grateful for support from Man Utd legend Schmeichel

Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund has highlighted the invaluable support he has received from club legend Peter Schmeichel since joining the team. Speaking to TipsbladetTi, the 22-year-old striker said, "Peter helps me occasionally and listens to how I'm feeling, both when things are going well and when things are going badly."
Hojlund, who recently ended a goal drought with a clinical finish in United's 3-0 victory over Leicester, described Schmeichel as a key figure in helping him adapt to the pressures of playing for one of the world's biggest clubs. "I wouldn't call him a father figure, but he helps a lot because he's been through it before," he added.
Schmeichel’s experience as a Danish player at Manchester United has been particularly meaningful for Hojlund. "He knows what it means to play for Manchester United as a Dane. It's nice to have someone to spar with on that front," the forward explained.
The growing Danish presence at the club, including Christian Eriksen and youth players Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu and Chido Obi, has further strengthened Hojlund’s sense of belonging. "Christian also helps me and the others," said Hojlund, while emphasising his willingness to support his younger compatriots.
