"He shows personality and quality" - Former Madrid boss Mourinho praises Guler

Jose Mourinho is one of the great European coaches. Now, the Portuguese coach is at Fenerbahce, but he does not lose sight of the top leagues. In an interview with ‘HT Spor’, among the many things he answered, he spoke about Arda Guler, the promising Turkish player who is only 19 years old.

"Arda is showing a great personality and differential quality. To play at that club, personality is very important. The players must have understood that they are good enough to play there, they can't be scared," said the Setubal native about the player from Blancos.

"The biggest club in the world can only have the best players in the world. Real Madrid do a great job signing the best young players in the world or potentially the best players. They bought Vinicius and Rodrygo when they were kids. They have Jude Bellingham, very young. Arda, very young. Now Endrick," he continued.

Finally, Mourinho also had good words for his counterpart in the dugout, Carlo Ancelotti: "Ancelotti is a great coach to learn from. Playing with the Turkish national team and playing in big events like the European Championship are also very important for him to feel the responsibilities of having a great country behind him."
